DAY 1: LYON
Boarding at 4:00 p.m. in Lyon, at the Quai Claude Bernard. Our boat will depart headed south. Crew presentation, welcome drink. Dinner followed by an evening of entertainment.
DAY 2: ARLES (1), The Camargue
Full board on board. Morning spent cruising through the landscapes of the south of France. You'll pass through Valence, with Saint Apollinaire and Montélimar, famous for its nougat. We'll pass through the Bollène lock, which raises and lowers boats 20 meters (66 feet) for navigating the Rhône River, a major civil engineering project of the 1950s. Arriving in Arles (1) and excursion to the Camargue. You'll visit an exceptional area where the sea, wetlands and ponds are inhabited by an extraordinary variety of bird life. Free time to visit the village of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. In the evening, guided tour of Arles, a mecca for tourism and culture. Overnight.
DAY 3: AVIGNON - VIVIERS, The Ardèche Gorges
Full board on board. Cruise to Avignon. Guided tour of the City of Popes, a citadel surrounded by ramparts and perched on a rocky outcropping over the river. Cruise to Roquemaure. Departure for the excursion by coach to visit the Ardèche gorges and to discover the Pont d'Arc Cavern, a replica of Chauvet Cave. Back on board in Saint-Etienne-des-Sorts. Departure of the boat for Viviers. Dinner on board. Overnight stopover.
DAY 4: VIVIERS - TAIN L'HERMITAGE (The Vercors)
Full board on board. Morning spent cruising to La Voulte. In the afternoon, excursion in the Vercors and visit of a wine cellar with a wine tasting of the famous Clairette de Die. Return on board at Tain l'Hermitage. Gala evening. Cruise to Lyon.
DAY 5: LYON
Buffet breakfast on board, arriving around 9:00 a.m in Lyon. Disembark. End of our services.
