Viking Odin was designed in the tradition of ancient Scandinavian longships by the naval architects Yran & Storbraaten to provide the ultimate river cruising experience. This green ship employs energy-efficient hybrid engines and solar panels and features an onboard organic herb garden. Three quarters of the cabins onboard Viking Odin feature either a full veranda or a French balcony; suites have both, with the Explorer Suites providing a 270° view of the river and beyond. At the ship’s bow, the Aquavit Terrace offers the opportunity for both indoor and outdoor dining and relaxation, with floor to ceiling glass windows that can be rolled aside. The shaded sitting area on the Sun Deck provides the ideal environment for enjoying the every changing scenery as you cruise. Other onboard amenities include free wireless internet service, a library and an onboard boutique.
